Jen
Client Service Representative
Jen joined the Franklin Veterinary Clinic team in June 2025. With a natural passion for helping others, she has always gravitated toward customer service roles where she can make a positive impact. Her deep love for animals, big and small, is what ultimately led her to pursue a career in the veterinary field. Pets have played an important role in her life, providing comfort during difficult times and bringing endless joy—something she hopes to help others experience as well.
At home, Jen and her husband share their lives with two lovable pups: a 9-year-old Shih Tzu named Maple and a lively 10-month-old Miniature Schnauzer named Noel. Life with them is always full of fun and energy!
Outside of work, Jen enjoys gardening, cooking, and going for bike rides. As self-proclaimed foodies, she and her husband are always on the hunt for delicious new spots to eat.
Fun fact: Jen once owned a motorcycle in her 20s, holds an aesthetician’s license, worked as a nanny, and even made it to the top of the Matterhorn mountain!
Dr. Lauren Brown
Veterinarian
Originally from Rhode Island, Dr. Brown received her undergraduate degree from the University of Rhode Island, and her degree in veterinary medicine from the Atlantic Veterinary College at the University of Prince Edward Island. Dr. Brown lives locally with her husband, two young children, and their golden retriever, Ellie. When not at the hospital, Dr. Brown can frequently be found on family walks or at the gym. Dr. Brown looks forward to building lasting relationships with both her patients and their families.
Casey
Client Service Representative
Casey has been a part of the team since 2023. A North Attleboro native, he now lives in Franklin with his family and their lively crew of pets, a house full of love that includes three dogs: Xena, a Lab-Beagle mix; Circe, a Great Dane–St. Bernard mix; and Nova, a Nova Scotia Duck Retriever, along with two cats, Jenga and Tetris.
Outside of work, Casey enjoys camping, playing video games, engaging in pen-and-paper games, listening to music, and discovering new dining spots. His affection for animals stems from the joy of seeing them happy and healthy, there’s something about their loving nature that always brings a smile to his face!
Fun fact: Casey spent six years working at a haunted house, where he did makeup for zombies, vampires, and clowns!
Kim
Client Service Representative
Kim has been a member of The Franklin Veterinary team since April 2024. Originally from England, she moved to the area in 2021 with her husband and their two dogs, Nala and Daisy. Kim often misses a traditional roast lamb dinner but enjoys traveling and has cherished visits to Africa and China, which are among her favorite destinations.

Samantha
Veterinary Technician
Having joined The Franklin Vet Clinic in September 2025, Samantha has been a wonderful addition to our team. After deciding to make a change from working in the restaurant industry, a friend helped her get a job as a veterinary receptionist and she quickly discovered her passion for animal care. Now a skilled veterinary technician, she finds fulfillment in helping those who can’t advocate for themselves. Though the job can be physically, emotionally, and mentally challenging, she loves making a difference every day.
Fun Fact: Samantha enjoys cleaning projects, big or small, and finds satisfaction in seeing the transformation from before to after.

Brittney
Client Service Representative
Brittney has been part of the Franklin Veterinary Clinic team since 2020 and is currently pursuing a degree in nursing. She quickly mastered the role of Client Service Representative and has become an invaluable member of our team, always baking treats and doing thoughtful things for her teammates. Brittney loves helping clients feel at ease, especially when their furry family members aren’t feeling well.
In her free time, she enjoys baking, crafting, and spending time with her two “lions” (cats), Norman and Millie.
Fun Fact: Brittney is a triplet!
Mara
Client Service Representative
Mara is a lifelong resident of Franklin and has been part of the Franklin Veterinary Clinic team since 2006. She shares her home with her dog, Reese (affectionately known as Reeses Pieces), and a beautiful Cheval Canadien horse named Mysti. Mara has always had a love for animals, which inspired her career in veterinary medicine. She finds great joy in helping pets get well and stay healthy. In addition to her work at the clinic, Mara volunteers as a wildlife rehabber with Return2Wild, caring for many different wild species. Despite her love for horror movies, she scares easily, and her favorite food is pizza.
Fun fact: Mara once appeared as an extra in a Hollywood movie!
Alice
Veterinary Technician
Alice has been with the Franklin Veterinary Clinic since 2022. She studied criminal justice in Florida but her passion for animals led her to her first veterinary technician position in South Georgia. Originally from Halifax, Alice’s love for New England brought her back after living in five different states over the past decade! In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and her rabbit, Benny.
Audrey
Certified Veterinary Technician/Inventory Manager
Audrey joined the Franklin Veterinary Clinic in the spring of 2021. She graduated Cum Laude from Mount Ida /UMass Amherst with a BS in veterinary technology. Audrey has experience working in canine physical therapy. Audrey loves spending time at the beach (esp. Kennebunkport, ME) and with her friends, family, and her 3 rescue cats. Fun fact, Audrey’s favorite dessert is Tiramisu.
Shannon
Certified Veterinary Technician
Shannon is a resident of Bellingham and has been with the Franklin Veterinary Clinic team part-time for many years while she was in school. Shannon graduated from Mount Ida/Becker with a degree in veterinary technology and joined the Franklin veterinary team full-time after graduation in 2021. She is an avid soccer player and played at the collegiate level. Shannon interned at Canine New England in the physical therapy department. She had a special interest in large animals, especially horses while in school. She loves spending her time at Wingaersheek Beach in Gloucester, MA with her family (Mom, Dad, and two sisters). Shannon has a dog named Dustin, a cat named Ernest, and a turtle named Tortuga.
Kelsey
Certified Veterinary Technician, VTS (ECC)
Kelsey received her Bachelor of Veterinary Science degree from Becker College and has been part of the Franklin Veterinary Clinic team since 2019. Kelsey is also an ER nurse at Tufts V.E.T.S in Walpole. In her spare time, she likes to go hiking with her dog Rocky. Rocky is a rescue dog from Tennessee who also participates in nosework training. Nosework is a canine sport that involves the task of finding a target using scent. Kelsey loves to vacation in Ogunquit, ME and her favorite food is sushi.
Karen
Certified Veterinary Technician
Karen earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Framingham State College and later received a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from Mount Ida College. She has been a valued member of the Franklin Veterinary Clinic team for many years, initially working with us in the early 2000s before taking a hiatus to raise her children. Karen rejoined the clinic in April 2015, oncer her children were teenagers. She got into veterinary medicine because she wanted to make a difference in the lives of animals. Karen has lives locally with her husband and two children for over 20 years. She shares her home with a sweet cat named Milo and enjoys listening to local bands and spending time at the beach in her spare time.
Zoë
Certified Veterinary Technician
Zoë has been part of the Franklin Veterinary Clinic team since 2017. With over a decade of experience in the veterinary field, she is a licensed veterinary technician. Her passion for animals began early, growing up on a family farm surrounded by dogs, cats, horses, ducks, chickens, and more. Zoë holds a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife and Conservation Biology from the University of Rhode Island. Before joining FVC, she worked as an outdoor educator, fostering youth environmentalism and sharing her love of nature. Outside of work, Zoë enjoys being a mom and spending time with her rescue hounds, Henry and Betty.
Tom
Certified Veterinary Technician
Tom is a Franklin native and a 2010 graduate of Becker College, where he earned degrees in Veterinary Technology and Veterinary Science. He has been part of the Franklin Veterinary Clinic team since 2010. Tom has always loved all animals—especially reptiles—and enjoys helping people with their pets. He loves veterinary medicine because of where he works and the amazing team he gets to work with, finding it to be a truly rewarding career. Tom has traveled to the Dominican Republic several times to volunteer with Project Samana. Outside of work, he enjoys dancing and spending time with his hound mix, Buddy.
Nichole
Certified Veterinary Technician
Nichole has been part of the Franklin Veterinary Clinic team since 2003. A graduate of Tri-County Regional Vocational Technical High School’s medical careers program, Nichole has always been fascinated by the medical field and driven by a passion for helping others—especially animals. Her love for veterinary medicine began early; as a kindergartener, she once convinced her dad to drive her back to school to rescue an injured seagull and find a veterinarian who could help it. Over the years, Nichole has dedicated more than half her life to caring for animals and supporting their families. She finds fulfillment in comforting pets and their owners while working in a field that continually fascinates her.
Outside of work, Nichole enjoys making bandanas, crafts, and jewelry—donating the proceeds to organizations such as Autism Awareness, Project Samana, Return2Wild, America’s Vet Dogs, Movember, the Mansfield Animal Shelter, and Mass Vest-A-Dog. When she’s not creating or volunteering, she loves baking, reading, fundraising, and spending time with her rescue cat, Mildred.
Fun fact: Nichole is a lifelong vegetarian who’s never had a cup of coffee! As a child, she even appeared on the Bozo the Clown Show with her Girl Scout troop—where she was selected to play a game and won!
Pam
Practice Manager
Pam is a valued member of the Franklin Veterinary Team, having joined the practice in 2001. A native of Franklin, she graduated from Tri-County Regional Vocational Technical High School with a focus on business and continued her education at Dean College and Northeastern University. She also holds the Certified Veterinary Business Leader certification and brings 13 years of experience in accounting and finance to her role. With a passion for health and wellness, Pam enjoys live music, beach outings, shopping, and spending time with her two children and close friends in her free time.
Dr. Erin Harney
Veterinarian
Dr. Harney is a 2024 graduate of Ross University, where she earned her degree in veterinary medicine. She also graduated from UMass Amherst in 2020, where she studied animal sciences on a pre-vet track. Dr. Harney also has a special interest in internal medicine. Originally from Mansfield, Massachusetts, Dr. Harney is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoyed running track and playing soccer growing up. She adopted her dog, Poppy, from St. Kitts. Fun fact: Dr. Harney studied Irish step dance when she was younger!
Dr. Morgan Robinson
Veterinarian
Dr. Robinson grew up in Sunnyvale, California, and has always known she wanted to work with animals. While attending the University of Portland, Oregon, she volunteered at a wildlife rehabilitation center and quickly fell in love with veterinary medicine. That experience inspired her to dedicate her life to helping animals, and we’re thrilled she brings that passion to our clinic.
She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Southern California in 2024, along with an MBA from the University of Portland. Dr. Robinson has a special interest in surgery and is excited to bring her skills, compassion, and enthusiasm to every patient and client. Outside the clinic, she enjoys traveling, crocheting, and spending time at the beach.
At home, she shares her life with her fiancé, a wildlife and exotic veterinarian, her two cats, Jaspurr & Purrcy, and her sand boa, Nessie!
Fun fact: Dr. Robinson is a former Division I athlete who competed in both indoor and beach volleyball at the University of Portland!
Dr. Jeffrey Wesley
Veterinarian
Dr. Wesley earned his veterinary degree from Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine and became part of the Franklin Veterinary Clinic team in 2013. A Massachusetts native, he grew up in nearby Medway. A passionate Boston sports fan, Dr. Wesley enjoys playing volleyball in his free time. He is a proud father of two young boys and shares his home with two adorable cats, Loki and Phoebe.
Dr. Sara Gray
Veterinarian/Co-Medical Director/Owner
Originally from Massachusetts, Dr. Gray ventured south to pursue marine biology at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She furthered her education and went on to earn her veterinary degree from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She joined Franklin Veterinary Clinic in 2009 and beyond her veterinary expertise, Dr. Gray excels as our Medical Director!
Dr. Gray got into veterinary medicine because she wanted to make a positive health impact on the pets in the community. She loves the field for the human-animal bond, finding joy in helping pets and their families thrive together.
In her spare time, Dr. Gray enjoys running and spending quality time with her husband, son, and their Labrador retriever, Hawkeye.
Fun Fact: Dr. Gray loves sloths!
